03 Jul No Tahini Humus

A friend of mine does not like tahini. Not sure what she has against it because I personally love the creamy taste it gives to hummus, but I do realize not everyone feels the same. So, per her request, I created a tahini free hummus. If you are also a tahini hater, give this hummus a try. Enjoy.


No Tahini Humus

Serves: 8 servings
  • 1 15 oz. can garbanzo beans
  • 2 tsp. crushed garlic
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1⁄2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  1. Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. If it needs more liquid, fill a cup with water and slowly pour the water in while it blends. Serve with favorite veggies.
